Throughout his legal career, Bobby has represented lenders, landlords, equity investors, and developers in connection with a variety of acquisition, leasing, development, and financing matters, and has acted as counsel to numerous local, regional, and national banks and borrowers in connection with acquisition and construction credit facilities secured by assets in Kentucky and other states. He has extensive experience advising developers, lenders, and equity investors in low-income housing tax credit (including 4% LIHTC/tax exempt bond) and historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions. Bobby also advises national financial institutions, equity investors, and developers as local counsel in Kentucky, and serves as primary counsel to several tenants and landlords in commercial lease negotiations.

Bobby graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and is admitted to practice law in Kentucky. He currently serves on the board of directors of three not-for-profit organizations based in Louisville, and is the chair of the Building Committee for Family Scholar House, Inc. He is listed in each of Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers of America, and Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
